Insurance deposit within 14 days?

I took out a policy on the 01/05/11 which cost to �70 the policy was set to start on the 14/05/11 but i emailed them to cancel the policy on the 10/05/11 as i no longer wanted the policy, i recieved a confirmation on the 11/05/11 confirming i had my policy cancelled but they said i would not get my deposit of �70 returned.... Is this even legal? i thought i had a cooling off period for 14 days?? im totally annoyed becuase now im going to have to pay another company another deposit of roughly the same value and i have nothing to show from it? the company in question in Flux Direct car insurance. Can they legally keep my deposit even within the 14 day period?

Can I stop being gay(my theory)?

I was thinking lately. After watching back to the future it hit me. What if I invented a time traveling delorean. Install the flux capacitor and generate the 1.21 giga wats of electricity. Sending me back to the year 1992(born in 93). I can go back to that point and "pull a Mart McFly" meaning do something to alter the space time continuum. I think its possible. I mean Einstein did offer the theory of relativity and the theory of alternate dimensions. I think gay is gross so why not go back in time or something.

Is this normal after flu?

I had flu and was in bed for about six days. I'm feeling much better now and during the day my temperature is normal. However, in the late afternoon my temperature gets high again and remains high through the night. This is accompanied with severe night sweats where I am waking up soaking wet. Is this a normal pattern of recovery?

5 year old pees on himself on purpose and throws tantrums. I'm so frustrated?

My son is 5 years old. He has been potty trained for almost 2 years. About 3 months ago he wet the bed. I felt horrible for him, told him it would be okay, changed him and sent him back to bed. Well, he has wet the bed about 90% of the time since then but, only at bedtime. Plus he never wets the bed at the sitters, my brothers, his mothers... anywhere but at home. He goes to the restroom before bed. Most times he only urinates a tiny bit in his pants but, it's enough for him to tell me "daddy, I peed my pants". The first month or so I was very compassionate and understanding. The next month I didn't say a word to him when it happened, just changed him and sent him back to bed. Recently I have started making him stand in the corner for a few minutes and then change him. I make him help me clean the mess almost every time. I've tried positive reinforcement, encouragement, silence, punishment... everything I can think of but, he continues to wet the bed. Everything I'm reading online says that very rarely will a child wet himself on purpose but, I'm 99% confident that this is the case. I don't know if he's trying to get attention, if he's trying to test me, if he sees it as an excuse to not go to sleep... I just don't know. Most times it seems like a game to him... he'll have a smile on his face when he tells me he wet himself. I've even went to the extent of threatening to put him back in a diaper at bedtime. He laughs at me Usually, when I threaten something I intend on backing it up but, I just couldn't bring myself to put him back in a diaper. He was crying and I felt like it wasn't the right thing to do. I'm at a loss and hope ya'll have some good advice for me. Thanks for your time, much appreciated.

How do i get the dubstep sound in fl studio?

I really like the sound of the bass in cracks and gold dust from flux pavilion, but i'm really new to fl studio so i don't even know how to make a dubstep sound. does anyone know how to do that with the settings or a plugin that can do that?
