How do i become a full blown Blood Mage?

i am born a Blood Mage already. I can bend peoples minds sometimes and i can block some thoughts from their heads. i can usually do this when i am in trouble. though my powers aren't as legendary as the legends of the Blood Mages that fought the small army of vampires and killed them with 6 of the council members! i need help to fully awaken! can anyone out there help me? my friends need me.
